Sixty-seven years ago the Gospel of Jesus Christ was brought to a little village by the sea called Aticama by a man remembered only as Brother Muro. Later on another man named Brother Ignacio Briones came to our village also teaching the Gospel of Christ. He was persecuted for doing so because it was not allowed at this time in Mexico to openly teach the word of God. It is told that Brother Briones was stoned but still he preached. Those that listened and believed, testified of changed lives.
Sixty years ago, Brother Jose Perez gave a piece of land with a small adobe house on it where we met for Worship until just recently. Tropical storms and the passing of time have deteriorated the building. While trying to replace the leaking roof tiles, the old structure started to crumble and it was realized that the building can't be renovated.

Since then we have been meeting outdoors and are concerned due to the onset of the rainy season.

We have a lot next to our old church
where we can build a new church. Our men are willing and able to do the construction. All we need to
get started is money for materials - mostly bricks and cement. The approximate cost of construction is $35,000 USD.
Please help us to do this. We promise you we will keep you posted with photos on our progress. Click here to make an online donation. All donations large and small are welcome. Gracias, Mayra Sandoval
The pastor of our church is Pastor Felipe Flores Lopez. If you are in the Aticama area we invite you to visit us.
